Bronze Shield
Training foundation
The property has begun the Harbor Alliance pathway by establishing a human trafficking training foundation.
- Training access established
- Participating property identified
- Initial completion plan in place
Safety Shield helps participating lodging properties understand where they are today and what control layer can be added next. Recognition is based on documented program participation—not a promise that incidents cannot occur.
Properties can begin with the training foundation and move toward deeper reporting, policy, and readiness controls as program requirements are completed and maintained.

The tier descriptions below communicate the intended program structure. Final criteria, verification, renewal, display permissions, and availability are governed by Harbor Alliance program terms.
